Are you on the search for a gentle, effective and affordable alternative to your costly and chemical-filled face routine?
This all-natural, DIY, face moisturizing oil recipe is exactly what you need.
Over the past few months, I have been experiencing an increase in the number of compliments on my skin.
I have noticed a difference myself as well, but to hear it come from others just really drives it home that what I am doing is working.
While being mindful of nutrients and chemicals going into my body, I also want to know exactly what I am putting on my face. If you have ever read some labels of big, expensive brand name face creams you will find that much of the time you are paying an exurbanite amount of money for a bunch of chemicals and water.
There is nothing worse than overpaying for face creams that claim to be anti-aging, sensitive skin, etc. and then be let down by their effectiveness or lack thereof.
This homemade blend of all-natural essential oils does not contain anything that you can’t pronounce and will leave your skin softer, and glowing.
After crafting this concoction for a little more than a year now, the improvements to my skin have been quite noticeable.
Here are just a few of the things that I have noticed.
When I first started looking into essential oils for skin health, I was a bit hesitant because my sensitive combination skin has never really responded well to “oil”
After a bit of research, I found that grape seed oil is perfect for creating facial blends for any skin type, and most certainly will not clog pores.
The different essential oils in this blend each have their own important purposes, and when mixed together, they become facial magic.
Lavender: reduces inflammation; increases circulation; antiseptic properties to fight bacteria; promotes healing of acne and reduces acne scarring.
Frankincense: reduces inflammation, profound anti-aging qualities; reduces fine lines and scars; antiseptic properties; supports and enhances skin cell turnover for brighter and healthier-looking skin.
Patchouli: reduces inflammation; promotes cell growth; antiseptic properties to aid in the healing of cuts, scars, and acne; astringent properties that aide in contracting blood vessels and skin cells while increasing elasticity.
Tea Tree: anti-inflammatory; antiseptic properties; highly effective acne and eczema treatment and management; reduce itching and irritation of dry skin; assists in combating oily skin
The combination of these oils provides immense benefits to your skin, from the reduction of lines and scars, to brightening your complexion.
This miracle skin oil is so simple to create, and is a fraction of the cost of store-bought brands.
I always have essential oils on hand, but if you are new to essential oils and need to purchase them, you can find a variety of kits for reasonable prices. Be sure to use all-natural, pure, therapeutic grade oils when applying to skin.
So without further ado, here is the exact breakdown of this miracle face oil:
You will need a jar ( I am using a recycled one from an old face cream) You could use a plastic or glass container of some sort that can hold about 2 ounces of liquid safely and securely. In a 2 ounce jar or container add:
-15 drops of Orange/Bergamot/Lemon oil ( you can even combine them all for a total of 15 drops)
-7 drops of Lemongrass oil
-15 drops Frankincense oil
-10 drops Tea Tree oil
-7 drops Patchouli oil
-10 drops Lavender oil
-fill the rest of the container with about 2 ounces of grapeseed oil leaving a small amount of space at the top of the jar/container

Secure lid tightly and gently shake to combine all oils, and that’s it!
***BEFORE USING ON YOUR FACE, APPLY THE FINSIHED SERUM TO THE BACK OF THE HAND AND MONITOR FOR 24 HOURS FOR ANY ALLERGIC REACTION. ***
To use this oil, dip fingertip into the jar and carefully apply the oil to the face for a thin layer.
Gently massage around face and neck in a circular motion up and outward.
A quick face massage with this oil will leave your face feeling softer and looking brighter, while the lovely scent soothes your senses.
The application of this oil has turned into a little mini daily practice of self-love and mindfulness for me.
While gently massaging my skin for a minute or 2, I take those moments to be present with myself and focus on my own self-care before starting a day filled with caring and doing for others.
We all deserve to look and feel our best and this oil is sure to help on that journey.
