  • Respond
A core element in mindfulness is the power of pause. 
Everyone has been in a situation at one time or another where their reaction to a situation or event was perhaps not too savory. 
It is quite common for humans to “react” rather then “respond”, but this can lead to unkind and often regrettable words and miscommunications.
 

Pause, Breath, Observe and Respond.

That’s it! It is a simple little technique that will make a huge impact on the way you deal with negative emotions and tough conversations.

As with many things, this may take practice.

Mindfulness is just that- a practice.

Everyday is a new day for practice and growth, so be patient with yourself.

Some days may be more challenging than others when incorporating new techniques, but trust the process and yourself.
